Sansin SDF

Sansin SDF Logs with ENS Trim Sansin SDF is specifically engineered to protect log homes, siding, decks, and wooden fences with a one-coat penetrating formula that repels condensed water while allowing water vapor to escape. SDF's specially formulated oils and resins penetrate into the wood, providing outstanding weather and ultra-violet (UV) protection. Thanks to SDF's unique water-borne technology, it can be applied to wood even with high moisture content - SDF lets wood "breathe", preventing moisture from getting trapped inside the logs and causing decay. Sansin SDF will not crack, peel, or blister. Maintenance cycles can be planned every two to three years on horizontal surfaces and three to six years on vertical surfaces depending on the number of coats applied. For best results, apply a flood coat of Sansin SDF, to a point of maximum absorption. Always back-brush the surface a few minutes after application. Continually check the surface; wipe up all puddles and brush out any runs. For additional protection an additional coat of SDF may be applied. The second coat is best applied before the first coat dries so that it can penetrate. If the first coat has dried you can apply a second coat after giving the surface a "scuff" sand. This will allow the second coat to better penetrate. SDF Naturals Topcoat may also be used. SDF may be used as the penetrating primer coat for Sansin ENS. Made in Canada.
